Tommy’s Living Desert Tours / Swakopmund
Experience a breath taking trip into the Namib Desert where Tommy will introduce you to the typical desert-life of the dunes around Swakopmund.
You will learn about plant life, minerals, all the animals around, and you will experience a dune-drive.
Animals which are possible (not guaranteed) to be seen are sidewinders, Palmato geckoes, Namaqua chameleons, Fitzsimons burrowing skinks, sand-diving lizards and scorpions to name just a few.
This tour has been developed by Tommy himself over several years, and it is a unique 4×4 adventure drive which will prove to you that the desert is anything but just dry and empty! Kids are welcome!
