Sandwich Harbour is a paradise for photography. A full day can be spent shooting the panoramic scenery that is constantly changing with the position of the sun. Few locations in the world can compete with the extreme contrasting environment of the desert meeting the ocean.
Early morning and late evening light provide the most spectacular scenery for photography. But, photography in Sandwich Harbour can be a 
challenge if early morning fog blocks the sunlight, or if the late afternoon wind creates slightly hazy conditions.
Close up encounters with the birds and other animals allow for stunning pictures and great memories.

Our Sandwich Harbour 4×4 Excursion takes you to the Walvis Bay Lagoon, the Saltpans, the Kuiseb River Delta, Sandwich Harbour, and – if weather and tides allow for it – the Sandwich Harbour Lagoon. We have plenty of time to stop and take pictures, and to enjoy the beautiful and unique scenery of one of the most spectacular areas in Namibia. Our roaring dunes and lookout spots are a highlight of every tour.
Our popular Marine Dune Day is a combination of a morning marine cruise and our Sandwich Harbour 4×4 Excursion. During the marine cruise on your choice of boat (speedboat or catamaran) you have a chance to see pelicans, seals, dolphins, the Walvis Bay Harbour, old russion boats, oyster farms and Pelican Point, where you will be dropped off at 11h30. Our 4×4 guide will be waiting for you to take you to Sandwich Harbour.
The Kayak Combo is a combination of the morning Kayaking tour and our Sandwich Harbour 4×4 Excursion. Jeanne will fetch you at 7h45 from our office and take you to Pelican Point. There, you will kayak amongst our seal colony. Dolphins are very likely to join you during your kayaking experience. At 11h30, we will fetch you from Pelican Point and take you on our Sandwich Harbour 4×4 Excursion.
