Okonjima Lodge

A long time ago Okonjima introduced a new winning concept: Actively include paying guests into the protection of species – and this has quickly led to the development of the Africat Foundation. Others have followed and introduced similar concepts and now the whole of Namibia is a Mecca for the protection of all sorts of African animals and birds. Okonjima is situated about 70 km South of Otjiwarongo accessible from the B1.

In the course of time Okonjima has acquired more farms, registered as a nature reserve and has built several very unique guest accommodations, from the comfortable family lodge to the very exclusive and private villa. Here in our website we include the ‘Plains Camp’ which is the most affordable of all the camps.

The Okonjima Plains Camp offers the following accommodation options.
